  3. So whats the conclusion here. Can we keep dogs in the house or not? It said that angels will not enter that house. I know a friend who has a little dog, but her sister is against it. If I show them this video their arguments will only get worse!

the conclusion here is that.Though you cannot keep them in the home, esp if you pray and plan on dropping dead sometime soon. (ie the angels aint gonna come with Rover there).
The rest is simply this, every body has their level as a muslim.
But thought it is not permitted to keep them in ur house, it doesnt mean everytime you see one you shoo it away, beat it with sticks or stones.

And you ClayF where and what u busy with?
Why are you not on the express?

  7. are u still looking for the nasheed?

btw: scientifacally.. it has been proven that dogs have got a certain bacteria in their salaiva which doesnt go by only washing it with water.. thats why the Prophet told us to use sand in the first wash..

i can get you the proofs that dogs are UnHYGENIC ! At the end of the day its our health that matters.. and the Prophet was telling us that..

He also mentioned that we can have dogs for TWO REASONS ONLY:
    1. hunting
    2. Security

    ONLY !

Nothing against dogs.. but they drool all over the place.. their salaiva is not hygene..

  8. Same thing applies to pigs.. we as muslims aren't allowed to eat their meat,, but doesn't mean we can torture or mis-treat them.

  9. I found this article on the Islamic Concern website written by a Muslim vet.

I think that it's factual with regard to Islamic beliefs.

Hopefully the website isn't blocked in the UAE.

  10. What About "Humans In Islam"?

Is this the way we should treat indian house builders in dubai?

and Harsha r u happy that dogs are treated fine? but ur indians are traeted like dogs by other indians!!!! - oh i see u dont have issues with that!!!

I can't understand, why is that we always have to proof to others what Islam preaches While we ourselves dont follow anything???

    Nah well what the f#$#!

  11. I've had issues with ppl regarding this - means - issues with muslims not letting me touch a dog when i'm with them.

and its not about 'MY' Indians being treated bad by Indians.

Like you said.. lets show concern for the 'Humans'

  12. First of all salaams Balushi, and welcome to my blog.
But dont you think you are being a bit harsh on Harsha.(ooops!)
Is it us who runs the country?
I doooont think so. So what do u suggest we take out a procession and demand rights for the workers?
Thats like illegal anyway isnt it?
You feel so strongly about it, what are you doing to better their lives.
Oh but so sorry! We expats are not worth your time and energy as we arent even half human ey?

True. But pigs are just dirty! Yuckky things.

  24. if there are dogs in the house the malayka will not enter the house because the saliva of the dogs is considered impure and dogs will be dogs and salivate everywhere. that's the way i know it.

i'm scared of doggies in either case, so the malaykas can camp free of worry in my house.

  25. Kaya: No thanks please, remember this is Ramadan or Ramzan as we used to say it back home. Balushi's blog was unblocked, so just hang on for a while and yours will too. Meanwhile, you're most welcome, as my offer stands.
